How it works

Inspiring the pursuit of collecting art

Salon brings together accomplished contemporary artists, independent art critics and a growing collection of original artworks. Each work is thoughtfully reviewed and acquired by Salon before being offered to collectors.

With one signature format, one price and the freedom to exchange artworks over time, Salon makes it easier to follow your curiosity, trust your eye and build a collection that feels genuinely yours.

The Salon Model

In the Studio

Carefully selected contemporary artists are invited to work on Salon’s signature 30 × 30 cm canvases. Within this shared format, each brings a distinctive approach, exploring new ideas, experimenting with techniques and pursuing fresh directions in their practice. The format becomes a starting point for creative exploration, while Salon’s acquisition programme offers artists the opportunity to earn income from their work each month.

Acquired by Salon

Each month, artists present their work in conversation with independent art critics, gaining fresh perspectives that can help inform and develop their practice. Salon then carefully considers the works for acquisition, investing directly in those it believes in. Each selected artwork becomes part of the Salon Collection, having passed through a process of critical dialogue, considered selection and genuine commitment.

Yours to Collect

New works are introduced through regular Releases, joining a growing collection of original contemporary art that remains available until collected. Explore the works at your own pace, follow artists whose practices interest you, or discover unexpected relationships through curated Salon Ensembles. With one signature format, one price and the freedom to exchange works over time, your collection can evolve naturally with your curiosity and discoveries.
